There has been at least four groups named PASSPORT: 1. PASSPORT is a German jazz/fusion band formed in 1971. Founded by sax player, composer and arranger Klaus Doldinger along with Curt Cress (percussion), Kristian Schultze (keyboards), and Wolfgang Schmid (bass & guitar), also known as Klaus Doldinger's Passport. Their third single 'Change Of The Guard' was also released under the PASSPORT 3. In 2010, a 3rd Group named Passport emerged onto the music scene BIO: Every 5 years or so, the clouds see fit to open up and bless us earth beings with a group of otherworldly individuals that bear the music of the gods; individuals who, by the very definition of the word, should have never come together, but for stroke of chance and genius.

This usually occurs during times of creative depression and extreme musical duress. This is one of those times.
