Loretta Devine

Loretta Devine is one of the original cast members of the Tony-award winning musical, "Dreamgirls." She played the character Lorrell, the same character that Anika Noni Rose played in the movie version in 2006. Devine, since starring in that musical, has become a rather successful movie and television actress, probably moreso than either Jennifer Holiday and Sheryl Lee Ralph, the other two principals in the Broadway play.
