Desyn Masiello named Morgan to be one of the future heroes of 2006 in a DJ Mag poll. 2) Tom Morgan is a bluegrass luthier and bassist who has been involved in bluegrass music since the 1950s and who is responsible for the nostalgic Old Country Church. He is also associated with The Country Gentlemen. 3) Tom Morgan (born 3 March 1970) is an Australian musician and songwriter best known for fronting 90s indie pop group Smudge.

Morgan also famously wrote and co-wrote a number of major songs for Boston power pop group The Lemonheads. His other bands include Sneeze, The GiveGoods, Godstar, Tofu Kok and Bambino Koresh, a trio in which he plays bass for his songwriting, singer, guitar-playing partner, Leticia Nischang.
