Autumn’s in the air here – morning’s smell like damp rain, my stoop is covered in soggy leaves, and there’s the unmistakable shrill ring of the cries of children at eight-thirty every morning as they skip to the primary school next door to my flat. In saying this, Fall is definitely my favourite season. Why? Because it’s so… brown. And gold, and red. And mustardy yellow – olive green. Basically all of the colours I covet. It’s library books and long walks in the woods (I’m envious of those who have them nearby), ankle socks with brogues and the first peep of winter woollies. My name is Teri, and I am an Autumnophile.
