This week back in 1931, Al Capone, one of history’s most notorious criminals, finally received justice after he was sentenced to 11 years in prison for tax evasion. An event which signalled the beginning of the end to his reign of terror which spread throughout Chicago’s underworld during the 1920s and 30s.
