When the American indie singer-songwriter Justin Vernon collaborated with the British dubstep star James Blake, it was just as expected as unexpected. Their two, in such different ways, sweet voices, from two such different worlds, united as a natural consequence of their critically acclaimed and cherished releases from 2011 - Vernon's Bon Ivers, “Bon Iver” and James Blake’s "James Blake".
Or maybe it was the love of vocoder that brought them together? The vocodern which also has a prominent role in the song "Fall Creek Boys Choir" - the result of their co-operation. A co-operation that both spawned and closed, a new playlist in the series I call "The Duo".
